Schedule: 32 Hours per Week: Monday - Saturday (flexible on days/hours)

Location: Onsite with Client / Occupational Medicine

Concentra is seeking a Physician to provide patient care as well as medical leadership of our clinic located onsite with our client in Raleigh. Services provided include: pre-employment and annual physicals, hearing conservation, fit testing, vaccines, work-related injury care and follow-up, first aid, and oversight of two RNs. The ideal candidate will have experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Family Medicine; Occupational Medicine/Employee Health experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

    Spends 100% of time in the onsite clinic providing direct patient care, leading by example, and creating an exceptional patient experience
  • Ensures day-to-day execution of Concentra's clinical model, collaborating with members of the healthcare team to drive optimal clinical outcomes
  • Accountable for monitoring, understanding, and effecting key onsite clinic metrics that relate to quality outcomes of Advanced Primary Care - chronic condition management, gaps in care, preventive health and age appropriate screenings, vaccinations, SDOH, wellness initiatives, clinic utilization and patient satisfaction of Occupational Medicine - timely return to work measures after an injury on the job, case duration, lost time, work duty status, reduction in work-related illnesses and improved functional capacity.
  • Manages staff clinicians and support staff and complies with APC supervisory requirements
  • Creates a professional and collaborative working environment with full colleague participation that promotes teamwork, quality, exceptional outcomes, and patient and colleague safety and engagement
  • Works with DMO and onsite leadership to identify and implement changes to ensure continuous clinical improvement
  • Masters use of clinical systems to ensure efficiency, excellent supportive documentation, and follow-through on all patient care orders
  • Ensures compliance with local, State, and Federal Practice Act/Rules and Regulations/WC Regulations
  • Drives patient and client experience metrics.
  • Actively participates in meetings with the client where/when applicable
  • Attend and actively participate in monthly clinician meetings and all other meetings as scheduled by the market leadership team.
  • Works with DMO and onsite leadership team to manage clinical and support staffing levels and proficiencies that will optimize patient satisfaction, workflows, and efficiencies
  • Promotes, cultivates, and exemplifies Orange Book values for all onsite colleagues
  • Develops colleague success through all aspects of the talent life cycle for staff clinicians and support staff within the center
  • Fosters an environment of collaboration, professionalism, patient/colleague safety, quality care, continuous improvement, and reward and recognition
  • Leads and promotes collaboration within the onsite leadership team to achieve clinical and business outcomes

Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted medical license
  • Unrestricted DEA license and dispensing license for state of jurisdiction (required prior to start date)
  • Must be eligible to participate in Medicare
  • Board Certification or Eligibility in an ABMS or AOA recognized specialty preferred
  • FMCSA NRCME certification preferred or willingness to obtain

This position is eligible to earn a base compensation rate in the state range of $210,000 - $225,000 depending on job-related factors as permitted by applicable law, such as level of experience, geographic location where the work is performed, and/or seniority.
