Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and oversee a small team responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and month-end close activities. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines operational accounting, financial reporting, team development, and process improvement.

The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, experience managing accounting staff, and a proven ability to drive accuracy, efficiency, and accountability across core accounting functions.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Oversee daily accounting activities including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Cash Applications, and general accounting functions.
  • Oversee Financial Reporting & Month-End Close functions
  • Analyze financial results and investigate significant variances.
  • Support audit requests and compliance requirements.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members.
  • Provide coaching and training to support professional growth.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.



Desired Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Prior experience supervising accounting staff.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, general ledger accounting, and month-end close.
  • Experience working within ERP systems (Implementation experience a plus!).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) is a plus.
