POSITION SUMMARY:

The Marketing Proposal Specialist will work with A/Z's various groups to lead the development of technical proposal content.

Duties may include but are not limited to:



  • Supporting the development of comprehensive responses to Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and other client-based deliverables in conjunction with Marketing and other internal departments.
  • Coordinating, gathering, and assembling the individual elements of RFQ, RFP, etc. responses from team members.
  • Excellent communication with internal team members and external entities in-person and via phone / email.
  • Reviewing, editing, and proofing technical documentation for grammar, consistency, accuracy, readability, etc.
  • Interviewing internal team members regarding past work history to support resume development.
  • Maintaining an excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and related software.
  • Developing and maintaining a strong knowledge of Filemaker and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator, and Photoshop).
  • Support printing, trimming / binding, assembly of pre-qualifications, proposals, and presentations.
  • Maintaining flexibility to support proposal deadlines including occasional weekend and after-hour requirements.
  • Supporting various physical requirements such as lifting a minimum of 20 lbs. and motion to include sitting, lifting, squatting, bending, kneeling, and reaching.

Qualifications

The minimum requirements to support this position are listed below:



  • Must have a minimum of three years consistently working in proposal development.
  • Effective management of multiple ongoing assignments / deadlines.
  • Willingness to take direction from multiple parties, incorporating constructive feedback throughout the proposal development process.
  • Commitment to taking ownership of proposal deliverables and supporting department peers in their assignments.
  • Proficient with computers specifically using Windows operating systems.
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Existing knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Knowledge of construction industry and terminology is a plus.
  • Willingness and desire to quickly become proficient with all necessary software.
