Security Guard Driver Patrol Specialist

As a Security Guard Driver Patrol Specialist in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response support at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to enforce site rules related to restricted areas, deliveries, and contractor access.
• Observe facility conditions and report hazards, maintenance issues, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations while supporting order throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
