The Information Technology Department supports administrative systems, academic technologies, and research computing. System reliability and campus operations are strengthened through IT initiatives. IT roles involve system support, infrastructure maintenance, and technical collaboration with campus units.

Job Description

This position will provide a crucial initial resource for the new infrastructure currently being developed for researchers at Missouri S&T.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Temporary High-Performance Computing (HPC) System Administrator.
  • The core responsibilities encompass the development of new Kubernetes infrastructure in collaboration with the existing system administration team, with the objective of providing computational resources to researchers.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $25.96-$36.54 hourly.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
