Senior Manager, Product Management - Commerce

San Diego, CA

Sony Interactive Entertainment is looking for an accomplished, customer obsessed and results oriented Product Management leader to deliver world class customer experiences in the commerce space.

Responsibilities

  • Define product vision and strategies, using domain expertise, identifying market opportunities and addressing customer needs.

  • Orchestrate competitive analysis, market, and user research to define user journey and satisfaction metrics to champion the voice of the customer.

  • Manage product roadmaps, align business and technical needs, turn data and insights into actionable projects, prioritize features and determine rollout strategy.

  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to build best-in-class solutions, balancing long-term platform needs and short-term journey optimizations.

  • Build positive relationships with business stakeholders, drive priorities aligned to business goals and communicate product roadmaps. Support go-to-market planning and execution.

  • Partner with data teams to set effective measurement frameworks all along products' lifecycle. Ensure features are backed by relevant metrics, and that success is measured on an ongoing basis. Understand and communicate effectively how your product is used in market.

  • Partner with legal and compliance teams to create a customer-centric, compliant and optimized experiences.

  • Lead a team of senior product managers and develop their skills and capabilities.

  • Be a champion of PlayStation's cultural values - driving innovation and collaboration at all levels.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or similar relevant years of experience

  • 8+ years of demonstrated experience in product management.

  • 2+ years of experience leading a team of product managers.

  • Experience in managing subscriptions or e-commerce products, with deep knowledge of key consumer journeys (onboarding, activation, funnel optimization, content engagement, churn management, personalization).

  • Experience in payments, e-commerce, gaming preferred.

  • Demonstrable experience developing long-term, multi-year product strategies, and product roadmaps. Experience with agile product development.

  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

  • Consistent track record in thinking strategically, working collaboratively and leading the delivery of complex and highly impactful projects.

  • Strong analytical abilities and data-driven decision-making, with proven attention to detail.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role's base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$199,400 - $299,200 USD
