Parts & Inventory Coordinator Automotive Service / Inventory Control Overview Seeking an experienced Parts & Inventory Coordinator to support daily operations within a high-volume automotive service environment. This role focuses on inventory accuracy, parts ordering, shipping/receiving, technician support, and maintaining efficient parts department operations.

Core Responsibilities
  • Manage incoming, outgoing, and returned inventory while maintaining accurate stock levels
  • Support technicians and service teams with parts availability, order fulfillment, and special orders
  • Conduct inventory audits and track discrepancies, shortages, and reorder needs
  • Coordinate shipping, receiving, and hazardous material handling procedures
  • Review parts requests and verify accuracy using electronic parts catalog systems
  • Assist with invoicing, billing, reporting, and inventory documentation
  • Communicate with vendors, service teams, and management regarding delays and parts status


Required Skills
  • Experience working in an automotive parts department
  • Strong inventory control and warehouse operations experience
  • Familiarity with Mercedes-Benz parts systems and vehicle components
  • Ability to read and navigate electronic parts catalogs (Paragon or similar)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable using Excel, Word, and inventory management systems


Preferred
  • Mercedes-Benz dealership or OEM parts department experience
  • Experience handling hazardous materials or DOT shipping requirements
  • Background supporting technicians in a service or repair environment
  • Experience with purchasing, invoicing, and inventory reporting



Estimated Min Rate: $15.00
Estimated Max Rate: $18.00
