Pediatric Medical Assistant needed for a full-time contract (potential temp-to-hire) opportunity with Yoh's well-known client located in Los Gatos, CA. --> Willingness to float to other surrounding offices in close proximity to Los Gatos office a huge plus. This center provides comprehensive, preventive, and primary care services for children. You'll be accountable for front and back office responsibilities, with a main focus on back office. --> Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm Top Skills You Should Possess: Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma Preferred: Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) Positive attitude, professional, and must be a team player Looking for a responsible, friendly, and helpful employee with good attendance Prefer at least (2) years of experience in Peds but open to Primary Care or other similar settings (as long as confident with injections and vitals) What You'll Be Doing: Room patients and conduct vitals Prepare patients for exams Assist with set up and procedures Administer vaccines Collect and send specimens Process requests for RX refills Maintain supplies (verify fridge/freezer temps) Chart using EPIC Answer phones, take messages, and schedule appointments Insurance verification POCT Scanning/filing/faxing responsibilities What You Need to Bring to the Table: BLS/CPR certified Full medical clearance such as: proof of MMR, Hep B, Varicella in addition to TB or QuantiFERON Gold test within 90 days of start date Strong organizational skills and good at multi-tasking Pediatric immunization experience What's In It For You?
