Project Manager III

Job Title: Project Manager III
Location: Merritt Island, FL
Job Type: Contract
Hours: 40/week
Pay Rate: $54.24 - $57.85/hour

We are seeking a contract Project Manager to lead the rapid construction of temporary structures. This is a fast-paced, short-duration engagement requiring someone who can hit the ground running.

Responsibilities include:
* Manage end-to-end construction activities, including scheduling, contractor coordination, and milestone tracking
* Ensure design requirements and specifications are met throughout the build
* Identify and drive lead time reductions across procurement, fabrication, and installation
* Manage vendors and subcontractors, including scope, performance, and change orders
* Track project budget and flag cost variances early
* Oversee safety compliance and ensure all work meets applicable standards
* Communicate status, risks, and blockers to project stakeholders

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
* 5+ years of project management experience in construction, facilities, or structures
* Demonstrated ability to compress schedules and manage multiple work streams simultaneously
* Experience managing vendors, subcontractors, and change orders
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* PMP or equivalent experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience managing construction or installation of temporary or modular structures, including tent structures
* Familiarity with rapid-deploy or expeditionary construction environments
