Job Description The Bank of New York Mellon seeks Senior Vice President, Metrics and Analytics Manager in Pittsburgh, PA, to generate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, and economic data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders. Provide technical support for existing reports, dashboards, or other tools. Maintain library of model documents, templates, or other reusable knowledge assets. Responsible for the production and reporting of strategic measurements that demonstrate the value and effectiveness of the CTS organization. Establish strong relationships with internal teams to gain an understanding of their strategies, objectives, and tactics to develop a comprehensive measurement plan. Create or review technical design documentation to ensure the accurate development of reporting solutions. Analyze technology trends to identify markets for future product development or to improve sales of existing products. Understand business and operational strategies and identify critical metrics required to support those strategies. Put in place business unit strategies to support larger initiatives. Coordinate the real-time monitoring and analysis of KPIs. Develop standard reporting models with visualizations to aid decision making and overall strategy. Create business intelligence tools or systems, including design of related databases, spreadsheets, or outputs. Identify or monitor current and potential customers, using business intelligence tools. Identify areas of opportunity and improvement within processes and tools based on reporting results and tool environment. Contribute to the achievement of metrics and analytics team objectives. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related occupation in the financial services industry. Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Designing visualization and reporting solutions to support business decision-making using Business intelligence tools; Utilizing core database elements including SQL tables, views, procedures, and functions to build credit risk, and KPI's; Implementing ETL layers to source data from flat files, and Vertica and Oracle databases, and performing data transformation using SQL scripts; Performing system integration services to deliver end-to-end solutions, including ingestion, transformation, and consumption; and Using Oracle and Vertica relational databases, Pentaho transformation tool, and SFTP or APIs to build enterprise-wide projects in financial services. Two (2) years of experience must include: Designing and implementing Snowflake solutions using dynamic tables and snowpipe streaming, and handling resiliency, observability, governance, and cost management controls within a Snowflake account. The base salary/range for this position is expected to be $151,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year at the commencement of employment. Base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will, and the Company reserves the right to modify the base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
