About the Job

MedStar Health's employed Anesthesiology group is seeking a full-time Cardiac/General Anesthesiologist to join our team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology (completed or currently in progress) is required. This unique opportunity offers a 50/50 mix of cardiac and general anesthesia, including complex cardiac procedures such as LVAD and heart transplant cases; candidates interested in a 100% cardiac anesthesiology role are encouraged to inquire within.

As a quaternary care referral center and Level I Trauma Center located in the heart of Washington, MedStar Washington Hospital Center provides anesthesia services across more than 40 clinical sites, including 30+ operating rooms, Endoscopy, the EP Lab, and Labor & Delivery. Plus, as a major teaching institution, we serve as a clinical training site for anesthesia residents, SAAs, and SRNAs, fostering a highly collaborative environment dedicated to exceptional patient care, education, and professional growth.
