We are seeking an Operations & Maintenance Engineer to support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of critical water and wastewater systems. In this role, you will monitor system performance, lead maintenance activities, troubleshoot technical issues, and drive operational improvements to minimize downtime and improve productivity while supporting uninterrupted service for our customers.
What You Will Do
  • Monitor the operation of Ultrapure Water, Wastewater, and Reclamation systems
  • Ensure systems and equipment operate efficiently and meet established performance targets
  • Analyze system performance data and recommend operational and maintenance improvements
  • Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to support uninterrupted production and service
  • Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities
  • Perform inspections, diagnostics, and oversee equipment repairs
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and technical documentation
  • Identify and resolve equipment faults and operational issues using root cause analysis
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence of failures
  • Support equipment upgrades, installations, commissioning, and process optimization initiatives
  • Recommend cost-reduction and energy-saving opportunities
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager
Position Details
  • Reports to: Boise Service Center Manager
  • Travel: Travel is required to and from client facilities in the Boise Metroplex. Minimal travel may be required for training purposes.
  • Onsite at Boise, ID Fab Shop
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field) with 3-5 years of experience in operations and maintenance, or more than 10 years of experience in semiconductor-related water treatment system operations, maintenance, expansions, and improvements
  • Experience with equipment troubleshooting and diagnostics
  • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
  • Familiarity with maintenance systems (CMMS), tools, and techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex industry-related documents
  • Understanding of applicable safety standards and regulations
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Navisworks
  • Effective communication, teamwork, time management, and multitasking skills

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

The pay range for this position is $90,000-$120,000 Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
