ABOUT THE ROLE

This position is responsible for preparing, finishing, and inspecting components prior to panel production. The role ensures parts are properly resin-coated, sanded, and ready for use, while maintaining material inventory and supporting overall production flow. This position plays a key part in maintaining quality standards, safety, and efficiency in the production process.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Resin and sand rails, bulkheads, and pads prior to storage or production use
  • Inspect parts and pads to ensure proper surface preparation and quality standards
  • Maintain resin inventory to support uninterrupted daily production
  • Perform Bondo and sanding work on parts and pads as needed
  • Assist with resin dotting on pads for quality control purposes
  • Support build-up and repair activities as required
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
  • Follow all safety procedures and production policies
  • Communicate effectively and work as part of a team


WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a production or manufacturing environment. They have experience in painting, drywall, auto body repair, or similar skilled trade work. They are reliable, safety-focused, and able to follow processes while contributing to team production goals. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE



  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Paint, drywall, or auto body experience helpful/preferred


WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS



  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm use
  • Capable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hours
  • Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequently
  • Ability to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazards
  • Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather, and outdoors year-round
  • Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area.
