Here's what it takes to make yours count:

• Inspect used tires for damage, wear, and defects to determine retread eligibility.
• Perform tire buffing operations to remove worn tread and prepare casings for retreading.
• Repair tire casings by patching punctures, filling damaged areas, and addressing structural issues.
• Apply new tread rubber using established retreading and vulcanization processes.
• Operate tire retreading machinery, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct quality inspections throughout the retreading process to ensure safety and performance standards are met.
• Move, lift, stack, and handle tires throughout the production process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with production goals by working efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, tire defects, or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Follow detailed work instructions and quality specifications to ensure consistent product standards.
• Work effectively as part of a team to support daily production operations.

Here's what it takes to thrive in this role:

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift and move heavy tires on a regular basis.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to rubber dust, tire debris, machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
• This is a very dirty job involving used commercial tires, rubber dust, grease, dirt, and heavy physical labor.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail is required.
