Job Description
The Senior Strategic Risk Officer is responsible for the leadership, innovation, governance, and management necessary to identify, evaluate, mitigate and monitor the first line operational and strategic risk. In partnership with Enterprise Risk Management, develops tools, practices, and policies to analyze and report line of business risks, and to manage risks according to an enterprise risk management framework. Ensures the Wealth Management division's risk management policies and strategies are in compliance with applicable regulations, rating agency standards, and strategic imperatives of the organization. Establishes the Risk Management architecture for the division / line of business. Oversees or monitors all operational risk management activities of the division / line of business. Monitors and analyzes risks within the line of business units and reports on these risks to the Senior and Executive Fiduciary Officers. Chairs or provides key inputs into Wealth Management Division line of business risk or other committees that oversees the risk management process and ensures alignment with division and organizational objectives. Possesses an intimate knowledge of internal business processes and the division / line of business industry. Exhibits business process knowledge, possesses a broad based operational perspective and provides solutions for non-insurance related business risk issues. Recognized risk leader, who is a dynamic, proactive and decisive person. Adapts well to and initiates change in the organization. Seeks ways to optimize risks in the organization as a competitive business advantage. Key traits for the individual in this position are: highly developed communications, team player, change agent, strategic and creative, excellent project management skills and the ability to drive performance from all areas within their company. The Senior Strategic Risk Officer will serve as a liaison between the business unit and Wealth Compliance, internal audit, external audit, OCC, and ITC, and will serve on committees that oversee processes and procedures related to strategic direction and risk management. This position is responsible for surveying and staying knowledgeable about the competitive marketplace. Advises on the right product set solutions and technology solutions we should be delivering, our target market, and competitive pricing levels. Team Culture

Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree and 12-15 years of fiduciary and / or corporate trustee knowledge and experience with Wealth relationships, or 15 + years equivalent experience. Preferred: Masters in Business Administration
