Summary:

As a member of the Leadership team, this role provides operational support and collaborative leadership, including collaboration in the implementation of the ministry strategic plan and service and program development. The Program Director of Operations is a leadership position that provides operational oversight and accountability for regulatory compliance for an assigned department, and works with Senior Leadership team in the development of strategic growth plans for the facility. This position works in collaboration with hospital leadership and medical staff to maximize service delivery and quality of care. Enterprise accountability is assumed for meeting organizational performance goals, financial metrics and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:


  • Provides operational input and suggestions to meet the facilities current and future needs
  • Provides oversight on improving efficiency and patient throughput through participation and/or development of PI specific initiatives
  • Operational support of service lines as directed by Senior Leadership team
  • Participation in providing support in achieving operational metrics (patient experience, physician satisfaction, productivity, financial, and quality)
  • Maintaining regulatory readiness and ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies
  • Works with facility leaders to provide support in establishing scope of service, goals and development of departmental strategic plans; stays up-to-date on new developments and best practices in the field and incorporates such in the scope of services
  • Promotes individual professional growth and development, supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as a preceptor, mentor and resource
  • Responsible for the administrative aspects and responsible for initiating and leading integration projects to gain operational efficiencies
  • Foster physician relationships directed at growth, interdisciplinary initiatives, and collaboration to optimize clinical efficiency, financial performance, quality outcomes, and practice growth.
  • Provides effective leadership and stewardship of assigned department(s) by being actively involved in appropriate hospital programs and services
  • Implement ongoing, continuous quality improvement processes throughout the assigned areas, focusing on systems and process improvement
  • Prioritizes and meets deadlines as appropriate
  • Other duties as assigned by Senior Leadership

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • 3-5 year's leadership experience in a healthcare setting
  • License in the medical field of study must remain current and competencies must be maintained if applicable.
