Job Summary:
Situated in the Office of Compliance, the Deputy Public Records Custodian(DPRC) reports to the Public Records Custodian(PRC), who serves as the institutional Wisconsin Public Records Law compliance officer. The DPRC develops institution-wide policies in coordination with the PRC, independently manages a public records request caseload, develops and delivers public records trainings on campus in coordination with the PRC, creates public records guidance and procedures and provides consultation to personnel on matters regarding the public records law with the PRC. The DPRC works closely with institutional stakeholders such as the Office of Legal Affairs, Strategic Communications, Intercollegiate Athletics, Research programs and researchers, Business Services, UW-Madison Police Department and Cybersecurity. Office of Compliance Compensation:The minimum annual salary for this position is $89,000. The actual salary will be based on experience and other qualifications.
