SEO Content Specialist This is a 12 month, 40hr/week, on-site contract role located in Boise, ID. Summary
Supports the search team by managing content production workflows.
Ensures digital content is properly keyworded, structured, and published.
Focuses on SEO and GEO execution, including keyword research, outlining, coordination, and performance tracking.

3+ years of experience in SEO, content marketing, or digital marketing.
Passion for digital marketing and search optimization with a strong foundation in keyword research and search intent.
Proficient in SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush or similar), with strong content structuring and optimization skills.
Familiar with GEO concepts, AI search optimization, and how LLMs interpret and surface content.
Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams including writers, agencies, and technical stakeholders.
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail.
Experience editing or optimizing content for AI-readiness, including semantic structuring and entity optimization.
Job Description
Manage SEO-driven content production workflows from intake through publication.
Partner with internal teams, writers, agencies, and AI tools to develop keyword strategies and structured content outlines.
Conduct keyword research and align content with search intent.
Coordinate content through production stages and maintain pipeline visibility.
Review and optimize draft content for SEO structure and keyword alignment.
Track and report on content performance, highlighting successes and gaps.
Enhance content for GEO performance by structuring answer-first sections and improving clarity for AI-driven search.
Expand FAQ sections using targeted queries and concise, accurate responses.
Strengthen internal linking and entity coverage across the site.
Execute scalable on-page optimizations to improve visibility across search and generative platforms.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or equivalent practical experience.
Background in digital marketing, SEO, content strategy, or related disciplines.
Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) preferred.
Experience with project management platforms (e.g., Workfront) preferred.
Exposure to B2B or technical industries is a plus.
Familiarity with GEO tools and AI-driven content optimization is a plus.
The pay for this W-2 position is $30 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
