SALARY $40,000.00 Annually Description This is a professional-level position that supports the Director in managing the day-to-day operations of admissions, recruitment, and dual enrollment. The Associate Director assists with the supervision of staff, implementation of strategic enrollment initiatives, and execution of outreach plans. This position plays a key role in supporting dual enrollment students and high school counselors through academic advising, coordination of agreements, and compliance with dual enrollment policies. The Associate Director exercises independent judgment in the coordination of programs, provides leadership in the absence of the Director, and helps develop initiatives that align with institutional enrollment goals. Minimum Qualifications KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS: Knowledge of management procedures for budgeting and record keeping. Knowledge of college policies and procedures related to dual enrollment and admissions. Skill in interpersonal relationships. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals and groups. Ability to supervise other employees. Ability to work with a minimum of supervision. Knowledge of human growth and development theory, career counseling and advising theory, differences in personalities and learning styles, and interpretation of achievement tests. Proficiency with student information systems and with programs necessary for advising and tracking students. Skill in Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to work well with others in a team approach; to work with faculty and outside community leaders; and to plan, organize, and attend to details. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree plus two years of experience working in higher education admissions, dual enrollment, or student services office, or a related field. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working with high school or community college populations. Familiarity with Florida dual enrollment regulations and public education systems. Experience using student information systems and CRM platforms. ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL SKILLS: Acceptable eyesight (with or without correction). ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Works inside in an office environment. Travel to the local area for recruitment and information sharing required.
