Come build your future with us! About the RoleThe Construction Technician II is a hands-on role supporting apartment renovation and construction management efforts. This position focuses on interior demolition, installation, finishing, and quality control to ensure renovated units are safe, functional, and ready for residents. What You'll DoBelow is a snapshot of what this role is all about. While there is more to it, this is the core focus. Interior Demolition & Preparation * Remove lights, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, hardware, and other interior components Installation & Finish Work * Install lighting, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, hardware, and window coverings Punch, Quality & Unit Readiness * Complete punch and finish work to make units "Rent Ready" Materials & Coordination * Control and organize purchased renovation materials within units We're all about creating communities that people are proud to call home. Education & Certifications * High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience * At least 2 years of prior experience with electrical, plumbing, appliance installation, drywall repair and painting. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. In addition to base salary, Fairfield offers all full time associates the following, upon meeting eligibility requirements:
