Position Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation & Delivery

  • Lead and support Vantagepoint implementations, from initial configuration through go-live and post-live strategic engagement.
  • Assist clients with the setup and configuration of Vantagepoint in multi-currency and multi-company environments.
  • Assess client business processes and make recommendations for workflow design or redesign to implementation delivery directors.
  • Apply and demonstrate ERP best practices throughout each engagement.
  • Deliver all project work within established budget and time frame parameters.

Training & Client Enablement
  • Provide training and information sessions to Deltek clients via phone, web conference, or in-person delivery.
  • Present essential concepts of Deltek's product line through scheduled classes and one-on-one consulting.
  • Handle client objections professionally during training sessions and escalate unresolved challenges to management.
  • Contribute to the development, update, and maintenance of client training materials, including web-based content.
Documentation & Administration
  • Produce high-quality, relevant client documentation in a timely manner.
  • Submit timesheet and invoice information promptly to support Deltek Global Consulting billing cycles.
  • Maintain accurate task logs, including issue descriptions, root causes, and resolutions.
  • Manage and update assigned project tasks in accordance with project standards.
  • Escalate scheduling conflicts to management as they arise.

Sales & Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with the sales team to develop accurate quotes for consulting services.
  • Work collaboratively with management to identify and resolve client challenges.
  • Leverage comprehensive knowledge of Vantagepoint's product functionality, data structure, and schema to troubleshoot and resolve client issues effectively.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited four-year institution.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in ERP consulting, implementation, or a closely related discipline; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
  • Hands-on Vantagepoint experience in a multi-currency and multi-company environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, project cost accounting, and project management methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP solution implementation is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with the architecture and engineering (A/E) industry and its operational workflows.
  • Prior experience training end users on ERP or project accounting platforms.
  • Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint in a consulting or implementation capacity.

Compensation Info

The U.S. salary range for this position is $72,000.00-$127,000.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
