ChristianaCare's Mobile Van Program in Wilmington seeking a professional, compassionate, dependable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant I with strong communication, integrity, and solid technical and clinical skills. The Mobile Van Program provides comprehensive primary care and substance use disorder (SUD) services within underserved communities throughout Wilmington, Delaware. This program is structured to overcome barriers such as transportation limitations, insurance coverage, and geographic inaccessibility by delivering care directly to individuals where they reside and gather. The scope of services encompasses preventive care, chronic disease management, health screenings, immunizations, POCT, SUD treatment and community engagement. As a Medical Assistant I, you support physicians in virtual and on-site patient care, performing essential clinical and clerical duties to ensure quality care. Flexibility to travel to communities throughout Wilmington, preferred. Work Schedule:
