Marketing Operations Specialist
Position Overview

The Marketing Operations Specialist supports the day-to-day use of Minitab's marketing technology stack, helping marketing teams execute campaigns efficiently, accurately, and at scale. This role focuses on assisting with campaign builds, maintaining data quality, supporting marketing systems, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across Marketing Operations.

This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build hands-on experience in marketing operations, systems, and data within a collaborative, fast-paced SaaS environment.


Responsibilities Summary
Martech Support & Campaign Enablement

  • Support marketing teams in using marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, CRM, website and campaign tools) to execute campaigns effectively.
  • Assist with building emails, lists, workflows, landing pages, and forms.
  • Help resolve basic campaign or system issues, escalating more complex problems as needed.
  • Support the maintenance of internal documentation, FAQs, and "how-to" guides to enable marketer self-service.


Campaign Operations & Execution

  • Support campaign setup and execution, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist with segmentation, list building, and workflow updates.
  • Perform QA checks to ensure campaigns are correctly built, tracked, and aligned to standards.
  • Coordinate campaign tasks using project management tools (e.g., Asana or similar).
  • Assist in preparing and sharing basic campaign performance summaries and data extracts to support marketing teams.


CRM & Data Support

  • Assist in maintaining CRM and marketing automation data quality (lists, fields, updates).
  • Support lead routing accuracy and basic lifecycle tracking.
  • Help identify and resolve data inconsistencies and data flow issues.
  • Support compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR) through accurate data handling and consent management.


Process Improvement & Marketing Operations Projects

  • Follow established processes, naming conventions, and QA standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Support Marketing Operations initiatives and projects focused on improving processes, enhancing system capabilities, and increasing marketing efficiency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that help scale marketing operations and improve team effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 0 to 2 years of experience (including internships, coursework, or relevant projects).
  • Familiarity with CRM or marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Experience with Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and willingness to learn.
  • Interest in marketing operations, systems, or data-driven marketing.
  • Understanding of marketing automation concepts and a strong logical, problem-solving mindset.
