Responsibilities

TheMedical AssistantCertified(CMA) providessuperior patient care and performsboth clinical and administrative tasksthat support patientsin aclinic-basedenvironmentas part of a care team led by thephysician and/oradvanced practice provider.


Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Graduate from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program.
  • Current national certification asaCertified Medical Assistant(CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
  • Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Officeknowledge.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Associate's degree.
  • Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care
