T-Rex Solutions is seeking a highly capable Senior Product Owner - AI Automation & Atlassian Transformation, to be responsible for driving product strategy, operational transformation, AI-enabled automation, and platform modernization across SDLCNext, an enterprise Atlassian platform supporting SDLC and ITSM operations throughout the DHMS portfolio.This role combines strong product ownership, Jira/Atlassian platform leadership, and advanced AI/automation expertise. The individual will own backlog prioritization, delivery execution, platform governance, and operational transformation initiatives while aggressively reducing manual effort through workflow automation, AI-enabled tooling, and scalable operational redesign. Operating in alignment with the Government Product Manager, this role is accountable for evolving SDLCNext into a scalable, automation-first enterprise platform that improves operational efficiency, accelerates delivery, enhances reporting and data quality, and modernizes how Process & Tools operations are executed across DHMS.The ideal candidate is not simply a Jira administrator or traditional Product Owner. This role is intended for candidates who have successfully led operational transformation efforts through automation, workflow redesign, Jira optimization, and practical AI implementation. The strongest candidates will demonstrate the ability to identify inefficient operational processes and redesign them into scalable, automation-driven workflows leveraging Jira automation, integrations, AI tooling, and enterprise operational best practices. Strong preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience applying Generative AI, workflow automation, and operational process transformation within enterprise Jira, ITSM, SDLC, or large-scale platform environments.
