This role is responsible for facilitating Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) activities, ensuring regulatory and internal compliance, and driving consistent application of Clariant's process safety standards across the site. The Process Safety Lead plays a critical role in identifying both obvious and subtle process hazards in complex chemical systems, ensuring risks are thoroughly evaluated and effectively mitigated. This requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to balance thoroughness with efficiency when leading structured safety reviews. Success in this role depends on the ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration, build consensus among diverse stakeholders, and maintain rigor under internal and external audit scrutiny. In addition, this role strengthens the organization's safety culture through training, Root Cause Analysis leadership, and continuous improvement of ESHA systems and workflows.
