MBSE Systems Engineer
Contingent upon prime contractor approval
Purpose:
- Valkyrie Enterprises has need for a MBSE Systems Engineer in Huntsville, AL
- In this role you will deliver senior technical and advisory assistance to Targets Program Office by aiding in the refinement and implementation of MBSE design standards across a portfolio of products
Job Description:
- Serve as designer for implementation of the Government Reference Architecture MBSE solution across Targets Program office
- Author process documents, develop template frameworks, and construct metric reporting methods to facilitate the execution of the MBSE solution to existing and future programs
- Use requirements analysis to create and maintain the (GRA) in Cameo
- Perform and lead systems engineering duties to elicit stakeholder requirements and mission needs
- Perform functional analysis using Model-based Systems Engineering techniques and tools
- Define requirements, perform functional analysis using Model-based Systems Engineering techniques and tools
- Assist in requirements development and management
Qualifications:
- Must have at least a Bachelor's degree with at least 7+ years of working on missile defense-related or other DoD programs/projects.
- Must have experience with Cameo Systems Modeler.
- Must have knowledge of Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE), preferably with direct experience working DoD Systems.
- Must have the ability to train others on MBSE concepts and tools
- Must have experience with languages used for architecture modeling (i.e. DoD Architecture Framework and (Unified Architecture Framework (UAF))
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with MDA programs and processes, preferred.
- Experience with missiles, targets, missile defense systems or hypersonic weapons, preferred.
- Hands-on experience with integrated requirements tools, such as DOORs NG, preferred.
- Exposure to MDA test events and activities, preferred.
Security Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen and possess an Active Secret Clearance.
Travel Requirements:
- Travel, to include international locations, may be required.
- If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods
- Able to sit and work on a computer for long periods of time
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
- Communicating with others to exchange information
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds
