About Platform Services The energy transition has moved past the technology-proving phase. Today, the defining challenge is orchestrating millions of distributed energy assets reliably, securely, and at the pace the grid demands. Platform Services is the digital growth engine for DNV Energy Systems North America, built on a fundamental conviction: the grid doesn't need more hardware. It needs better intelligence. Our mission is to bridge infrastructure complexity with commercial execution by delivering secure, AI-native SaaS platforms that turn digital ambition into operational reality for Tier-1 utilities and energy operators. Our vision is to unify the fragmented legacy architectures of utility program operations into a single, modern data model building the operational nervous system that accelerates the path to decarbonization. As we scale to support 4x customer-account growth over the next three years, this is one of the most consequential platform-engineering challenges in the energy sector. About the role The VP/Head of Department-Product is the integrator at the heart of Platform Services. You own the integrated platform roadmap and customer experience across the eTRACK+ portfolio including AI-enabled features. You decide what Platform Services builds, in what sequence, packaged how, and priced how. You close the loop between customer signals from Commercial, AI capabilities from Enterprise AI, and engineering execution from Engineering . This is a product leadership role with three center-of-gravity responsibilities: leading the platform-and-modules repositioning that converts a multi-product portfolio into a unified platform; launching the AI tier as the company's most defensible commercial differentiator; and translating the broader trends reshaping utility operations into scalable product strategy. This role requires collaboration across multiple time zones, including both India and U.S. time zones. This role is based at our DNV office in Houston, TX; Oakland, CA; Austin, TX; Dallas, TX; Medford, MA; New York, NY; Seattle, WA; Chalfont, PA; Des Moines, IA; Detroit, MI; Madison, WI; Phoenix, AZ; Portland, OR, presenting a dynamic hybrid schedule where employees will typically spend three (3) days per week working from either a DNV office or client location/site. Further details regarding role-specific requirements will be shared during the interview process. The position may also be considered at other DNV offices within the continental U.S. What you'll do Strategic platform leadership
