Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Global Manager - IT Infrastructure provides strategic and operational leadership for Pyrotek's global IT infrastructure environment. This role leads infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity initiatives, cloud strategy, and operational excellence across a global manufacturing footprint.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical leadership, experience managing global teams, and the ability to build scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure solutions that support business growth.

We believe great work happens through collaboration, flexibility, and accountability. This role follows a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote. * More in office days may be required for special projects, training and onboarding. Subject to change at leadership discretion.

What You'll Do

  • Lead global IT infrastructure strategy and execution
  • Oversee hybrid cloud environments across Azure, AWS, and GCP
  • Drive infrastructure modernization, automation, and standardization initiatives
  • Manage global networking, servers, storage, and data center operations
  • Strengthen cybersecurity posture and support Zero Trust architecture
  • Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
  • Manage infrastructure budgets, vendors, contracts, and SLAs
  • Develop global standards, governance, and compliance practices
  • Lead and develop distributed infrastructure teams and external partners
  • Support 24/7 manufacturing and business operations worldwide

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience
  • 5+ years leading teams in a global, multi-site environment
  • Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, cybersecurity, and infrastructure operations
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or operational environments
  • Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally

Preferred

  • Advanced degree or industry certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, or CCNP
  • Experience with:
    • Azure, AWS, and GCP
    • SD-WAN and Zero Trust networking
    • Microsoft 365 technologies
    • Infrastructure automation and observability platforms
    • NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks

Working Environment

While performing the essential responsibilities of this position, the team member will generally work in an office environment with exposure to a manufacturing environment that may present loud noise, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including approved footwear, respirators, and safety glasses/goggles may be required.

The minimum and maximum salaryrange for this full-time position is $133k - $166k + benefits. Relocation benefits may be available, if deemed applicable based on candidate location.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including but not limited tojob-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in this posted role reflect the base salary only and do not include bonus or benefits.
