Position Summary: The Principal Electrical Engineer will plan and conduct work requiring the application of extensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles in broad areas of assignment and related fields. Leads the definition, development, review, and maintenance of FPGA architectures and code, including design verification and validation activities. Reviews and develops HDL code, ensures design quality, and supports design reuse and long-term maintainability. Works closely with hardware and software engineering teams to define interfaces, integrate FPGA designs into system architectures, and support system-level debugging and releases. Generally uses advanced techniques and the modification or extension of theories, concepts, and practices in the specialty and/or related disciplines. The annual base salary range for this role is currently $165,000 to $200,000. This is a bonus-eligible position. Individual employee compensation will ultimately depend on factors including education, relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, and particular business needs.
