As a Security Officer Patrol Access Screening in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment through routine patrols, access awareness, and responsive assistance. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech, media, or telecom location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, entry points, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report suspicious conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support authorized entry procedures in accordance with site protocols.
• Observe the location for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related concerns, and communicate findings promptly through required reports and verbal updates.

Minimum Requirements:

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
