THE ROLE: AMD is looking for a senior software engineer to join our growing teamto help scale our test automation efforts. You will focus on automating test cases and building reliable test harnesses that accelerate firmware and platform validation across pre-silicon simulation models and post-silicon platforms. This role emphasizes creative automation: finding new ways to reduce manual effort, improve test coverage, and accelerate delivery using modern tooling - including AI assisted techniques and automation frameworks. THE PERSON: The ideal candidate possesses an innovative and problem-solving mindset, has a keen eye for Software engineering development, and is diligent and passionate about Technology.You are an inventive, results-oriented engineer who enjoys automating repetitive work and improving test reliability. You challenge the status quo, propose better ways to test and deliver, and enjoy applying new techniques (including AI/ML tools) to boost productivity. You communicate clearly with engineers across firmware, hardware and software domains, take ownership of test artifacts, and move quickly from prototype automation to production quality CI integration.
