The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The Social Worker delivers direct clinical services such as individual, group, or family psychotherapy, couple counseling, crisis intervention, case management, outreach services, and serves as a mental health consultant. Develops comprehensive biopsychosocial history on the patient, highlighting current functioning, presenting problem, and history of treatment via interviews with the patient, family and/or significant others.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, with clinical license preferred (LSW/LCSW) and at least two years working in an inpatient mental health program

Preferred:

  • Experience running groups, and bilingual speaking strongly preferred

Scheduling Requirements

  • Day Shift
  • Per Diem

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for development, implementation, monitoring and documentation of initial interdisciplinary treatment plan
  • Terminates with assigned patients as per the treatment plan, ensures appropriate discharge planning, follow-up, and timely documentation per quality assurance standards
  • Attends weekly supervision, takes active role in learning, and participates/presents in case conferences
  • Takes responsibility for professional growth and development through on-going participation in educational programs on and off-site
