As a Security Officer Access Verification in Sparrows Point, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a smooth flow of employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication while helping to deter security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and other security-related policies at an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for personnel, contractors, and deliveries, helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting orderly movement throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and reporting activity as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual conditions and/or security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and vehicle access records, communicate with site contacts regarding entry authorization, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security-related experience of 6 or more months is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
