As a Security Officer Store Front Patrol in Saint George, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $17.40 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, screening entry at designated points, and assisting with security-related questions and requests.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned access points to help to deter unauthorized entry, verify credentials and/or permissions, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity as required.
• Respond to incidents, policy concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, access control issues, and conditions that may need attention or reporting.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, assist with directing foot traffic during high-volume periods, and complete required reports related to access control and other security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
