As a Security Officer Controlled Entry Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support site access procedures. This is a driving post, offering a dynamic role with visible presence, routine patrols, and customer-focused communication that helps to deter security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, screening employees, visitors, and/or contractors, and supporting security-related protocols at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, issue visitor passes as required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observed activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and other required documentation related to access activity, deliveries, visitors, and/or unusual incidents.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns that could impact daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A TSA issued TWIC is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
