Intern - Accounts Payable/Accounting

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

Kratos SRE is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to support our Accounts Payable team during the summer months and potentially longer. This position is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting. You will assist with various tasks and projects while learning about our operations, industry practices, and organizational culture.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Responsibilities
• Provide operations support
• Assist with project tasks as assigned
• Maintain and organize files, documents, or data
• Support team members with daily activities
• Perform light physical tasks
• Follow company procedures and safety guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

No supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a college or university program, pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
• Organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently as part of a team

WORK ENVIROMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Work Environment & Conditions

This position involves work in an office and laboratory environment and could require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including:

• Safety glasses
• Hearing protection (varies based on tasks)
• Shoe covers

In performing the work for this position, you must be able to:

• Perform work utilizing a computer for extended periods of time.
• Sit for extended periods of time without being able to leave the work area.
