Trilogy Federal is looking for a motivated and independent Senior Financial Analyst to support a large program office within Veterans Health Administration. The ideal candidate possesses outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, an interest in management consulting, and a desire to learn. The selected candidate will have an important role on a high-performing team focused on supporting programs that provide a variety of health care services for eligible beneficiaries.

This position may require occasional travel to D.C. in support of client needs and expectations. Only candidates in the DC Metro Area will be considered.

Please note, this position is continent upon award (May/June 2026)


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leads a group of analysts to systematically integrate business, cost estimating, and financial management processes to ensure the efficient stewardship of public funds
  • Formulate strategic financial plans, prepare cost estimates and correlate financing requirements into executable budgets.
  • Assess products and or procedures for compliance with government standards, accounting principles, internal controls, and multi-tiered system application standards.
  • Manage completion of work within specified timeframes, ensuring that all requirements are met
  • Provide senior level project management/administrative support and coordination to a complex contract, project, task(s) or business unit(s).
  • Assist in conducting analyses of specific issues and identification of alternatives.
  • Assist in creating and presenting executive-level briefings and presentations on project status, risks, issues, and strategies.
  • Support client in developing and maintaining project management artifacts to include, but not limited to: Process Flows, Action Item Logs, Risk Registers, Test Plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Executive Summaries.
  • Capture spoken information in real-time in documents and spreadsheets (e.g., live edits to documents, capture of questions and answers during presentations, etc.).
  • Ad hoc and other strategic support tasks, as assigned by client and project manager.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 8 years total experience.
  • Agility and ability to change course based on shifting plans, priorities, and timelines.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • Strong ability to grasp interrelationships among financial management requirements and automated solutions
  • Deep experience and expertise in federal government business, cost estimating, and financial management processes
  • Strong knowledge of government standards, accounting principles, internal controls, and multi-tiered system application standards
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment focused on learning, opportunities for impact, and collaboration with colleagues.
  • Proficient in the following MS Office Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • The ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
  • The ability to support occasional travel to D.C. in support of client needs and expectations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • VA or Federal experience.
  • Prior experience working in a healthcare organization (e.g., hospital, health system, health insurance company, military health etc.).
  • PMP certified.
