WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

The Wax Injector plays an important role in PCC Carson City's investment casting process by producing precision wax patterns used in aerospace and industrial components. In this role, you'll operate wax injection equipment, perform inspections, and ensure each pattern meets strict dimensional and visual quality standards. Inspection & Quality
  • Performing visual inspections for defects (flow lines, bubbles, cracks, sinks, non-fill)
  • Verifying part geometry and basic specifications
  • Handling parts carefully to prevent damage
Work Orders & Documentation
  • Interpreting PEIs, SOPs, routers, and production documentation
  • Maintaining lot traceability and accurate tracking (AQCS)
  • Verifying part marking throughout production
Tooling & Equipment

  • Cleaning dies and preparing tooling for storage
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment (6S)
General Responsibilities
  • Supporting team and production goals as needed
