Overview
The Manager, Enterprise Applications (Clinical & EMR Systems) leads the operational management, support, and optimization of clinical and enterprise applications, including electronic medical record (EMR) platforms. This role ensures the reliability and performance of systems that support clinical care delivery and integrated healthcare operations. This position partners closely with clinical leadership, operational teams, and IT to ensure systems effectively support both provider and health plan workflows. The Manager leads a team of analysts and serves as a key driver of system improvements, vendor coordination, and platform strategy. What We Provide

What You Will Do Platform Operations & Support
- Lead Tier 2 support for EMR and clinical applications, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care and operations.
- Oversee incident, problem, and request management processes aligned with ITIL practices.
- Monitor service performance and drive improvements in system reliability and user experience.
Clinical Workflow & System Optimization
- Partner with clinical, operational, and health plan stakeholders to understand workflows and translate needs into system solutions.
- Oversee enhancements and optimization of clinical and operational workflows across platforms.
- Ensure systems effectively support care delivery, coordination, and administrative processes.
Configuration & Integration Oversight
- Manage configuration of EMR and related systems, including workflows, templates, and business rules.
- Oversee integrations and data flows across clinical and enterprise systems.
- Ensure consistency, scalability, and adherence to best practices.
Release & Change Management
- Manage platform releases, upgrades, and enhancements with a focus on clinical impact.
- Ensure robust testing (including regression and UAT) to protect patient care workflows.
Vendor Management
- Serve as primary contact for EMR and clinical system vendors.
- Manage escalations, support coordination, and vendor performance.
Compliance & Data Integrity
- Ensure systems comply with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, CMS).
- Support audits, data integrity initiatives, and clinical documentation standards.
Leadership & Delivery
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of analysts supporting clinical and enterprise applications.
- Prioritize work across multiple systems and stakeholder groups.
- Drive continuous improvement and system optimization initiatives.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
Work Experience:
- 5-7+ years of experience in healthcare IT, enterprise applications, or EMR systems.
- 3+ years of leadership or team management experience.
- Strong experience supporting EMR platforms and clinical applications.
- Experience working in environments supporting both provider and health plan business models strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows, care delivery systems, and healthcare operations.
- Experience with system integrations, interoperability, and data exchange.
- Familiarity with SDLC, ITIL processes, and SaaS platform operations.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, especially with clinical teams.
- Ability to balance operational support with strategic improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in complex healthcare environments.
Pay Range
USD $122,300.00 - USD $164,000.00 /Yr.
