Position Summary The IRB Coordinator will provide regulatory expertise, guidance and administrative support to the NYU Institutional Review Board reviewing human subject research protocols. Attain and maintain comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of human subject research protections and IRB regulations. Works with researchers, the IRB Chairperson(s) and members, the Human Research Compliance Director, IRB staff and other University offices to ensure the rights and welfare of participants in the human research activities conducted by the University's faculty, scientists, and students. Advises researchers in adhering to IRB requirements, federal and state regulations, state law, University policies, and the ethical principles that apply to human research projects. The incumbent will Assist the chair and committee in the Investigation and resolution of any noncompliance issues. Works with the IRB Chairperson and other IRB members by providing professional analytical and technical assistance while interacting closely with researchers from University schools and departments. Qualifications Required Education: Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $75,017.12 to USD $91,687.58. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
