Overview (Scope of Role)
The Maintenance Coordinator plans and schedules the daily maintenance work activities for the Louisville site. They ensure all material whether internally or externally sourced is available and organized before the commencement of work. The Maintenance Coordinator also maintains the stores inventory.


Responsibilities

Maintenance Planning and Scheduling:
Monitors and adjusts corrective and preventive work activities in SAP.
Works with Maintenance Supervisor to create a schedule so that work can be completed by assigned due date.
Leads the planning and scheduling of large and small shutdowns.
Assists mechanics with assigning parts and time to work orders in SAP.
Creates purchase requisitions and performs goods receipts for maintenance and stores related purchasing activities.
Interfaces with accounts payable to ensure that vendor related payment issues are resolved.
Leads monthly and annual stores inventory checks and reconciliation in SAP.
Interfaces with vendors to ensure VMI, stock, and non-stock materials and supplies are available.
Works with mechanics to ensure that parts are labeled and stored in assigned locations.
Provides off hours and off site support for identification and purchase of parts as required.
Maintains and updates maintenance and engineering files, including the scanning of documents.
Safety/Environmental/Quality Support:
Ensure Safety, Environmental and Quality critical safeguards PM orders are issued and parts assigned.
Ensure mechanics are scheduled for all required safety meetings and training.
Ensure ISO, QS and PM procedures are uploaded into SAP.
Participate in assigned salaried safety programs such as safety watch, flash audit and time for safety.
Loss control and responsible care management review, leadership, approval and delegation as prescribed by the Maintenance/Reliability Manager.
Complete assigned safety and reliability actions in a timely manner.
Maintenance Supervision:
Backup for the Maintenance Supervisor in their absence.
All other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.
5 years of experience within maintenance planning and scheduling preferred.
Must be able to climb ladders and lift 50 lb.
Knowledge/Skills
Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets and databases desired.
Working knowledge of SAP required.
Must maintain a valid driver's license.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal).
Strong commitment to safety and experience in an industrial setting.
Highly motivated team player able to work at a fast pace.
