Whitewater 360 Restaurant Supervisor

Job Summary

The Whitewater 360 Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations while delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role leads associates on the floor, promotes high service standards, and supports revenue and profitability goals. The Supervisor fosters a positive team environment, ensures food quality and safety, and remains actively engaged with guests and staff throughout service periods.

This is a hands-on supervisory role. Administrative duties are limited; the Supervisor is expected to spend the majority of the shift on the floor supporting service operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Supervise daily restaurant operations and ensure service standards are consistently met
  • Remain on the floor during meal periods to support associates and engage with guests
  • Promote guest satisfaction through proactive interaction, feedback solicitation, and service recovery
  • Assist with financial performance by supporting revenue, cost control, and labor management goals
  • Ensure accurate scheduling aligned with forecasted business levels and budget guidelines
  • Open and close shifts according to established procedures and checklists
  • Enforce Horseshoe Bay Resort standards for service, food safety, cleanliness, and professionalism
  • Execute proper check handling, cash control, and revenue procedures during assigned shifts
  • Train, motivate, and support associates to maintain a high-performing and engaged team
  • Conduct menu knowledge training and taste panels to ensure product quality and consistency
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure only approved standards are served
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary environment for guests and associates
  • Address daily operational challenges, including staffing changes, call-outs, and last-minute reservations
  • Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth communication and timely service
  • Oversee station rotation and side work completion to ensure fair workload distribution
  • Manage basic maintenance needs through work orders and inspections
  • Support associate relations, including shift adjustments and performance coaching
  • Assist associates as needed to ensure uninterrupted guest service


Minimum Qualifications



  • Minimum of two years of food service or hospitality supervisory experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities
  • Working knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards
  • Strong guest service and hospitality skills
  • Ability to maintain proper uniform, grooming, and professional appearance standards

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to guest satisfaction
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding that the hospitality industry operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day


Physical and Mental Requirements



  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds; occasional lifting up to 10 pounds
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs regularly
  • Ability to read, interpret, and communicate information accurately
  • Ability to communicate clearly with guests, associates, and leadership

Experience
Experience actively engaging with guests, resolving service issues in real time, supporting revenue and cost control initiatives, managing check and cash control procedures, and addressing staffing or operational challenges during service. (required)
Experience leading, coaching, and motivating food and beverage associates, including scheduling aligned to business forecasts, conducting shift briefings, enforcing brand standards, and supporting associate performance and engagement. (required)
Experience supervising daily restaurant operations in a high-volume dining environment, maintaining floor presence during service, ensuring service standards, food quality, safety compliance, and guest satisfaction throughout all meal periods. (required)
