The impact you'll make

Oversees the planning and controls the flow of materials, products, services and related systems information from point of origin to point of delivery. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to supply chain services, inventory control, or critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing, third-party warehousing and shipping/receiving activities. Develops and implements logistics plans, budgets, and procedures to maximize compliance with customer needs within budget constraints. Provides financial reporting and reconciliation of inventories. Exhibits thorough understanding of international Letters of Credit and other forms of banking documents and international shipments. Interacts with vendors and peers in Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and Product Development personnel to optimize systems and procedures. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

What you'll do

Key Responsibilities, but are not limited to:

  • Manage daily operations, team performance, and career development
  • Oversee multiple warehouse operations across PHX spares warehouse
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, SOX, ISO, and quality standards
  • Attend daily/weekly status meetings for your department and provide real-time updates
  • Act as the primary escalation point for your department, resolving complex operational issues promptly.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance quality
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve service levels
  • Support system implementations andlogisticsprocess improvements
  • Monitor and report on key metrics: inventory, in-transit goods, warehouse quality
  • Conduct root cause analysis for quality escapes using structured problem-solving
  • Respondto changes in manufacturingbuildplans with proactivelogisticssupport
Who we're looking for
  • A degree or equivalent with 6+ years of related experience as an individual contributor.
  • Minimum of 4 years oflogisticsor warehouse operations leadership experience
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); SAP experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to analyze technical documents (drawings, schematics, designs)
  • Experience with inventory control, reporting, and process management
  • Ability to manage multiple processes and projects
  • SAP WM or EWM experience
  • Structured problem solving experience (8D, 5-why, fishbone)
  • Professionalism, problem-solving mindset, and a drive for continuous improvement
Preferred qualifications
  • Continued education or professional development
  • Familiarity with logistics systems and automation tools
  • Familiarity with automated storage and retrieval systems (VLM, Autostore, AGV)

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
