Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic intern to join our Development Tools group. This unique internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various departments, including Marketing, Testing, Hardware Development, Software Development, and Academics. This position is ideal for students who are passionate about technology and eager to learn about the different facets of development tools used in microcontroller, microprocessor, and digital signal controller applications.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Looking for a self-motivated programmer who will develop, test, and document software deployed in Microchip applications used by end-customers.
  • The candidate will work as part of a team and will be familiar with enterprise level tools such as Git and Jira.
  • Primary coding languages are Java 8 and TypeScript developed using IDEs such as VS Code or NetBeans. Knowledge of React would be an asset.
  • Mandatory in office days Monday & Tuesday. Can work an additional days for a maximum of 32 hours per week
  • Available for duration of HS Intern program 6/2/2025-7/2/2025
  • Must be a high school student within CUSD with a strong academic record.
  • Must provide their own transportation (ie over 16 years old)
This position is not eligible for Microchip immigration sponsorship.
