The Defense Systems Division is part of the Parker Aerospace Group, located in Irvine, California. Our products are used across military and commercial platforms globally. We specialize in cutting edge thermal management systems and components including fans, pumps and compressors, ammunition handling systems, weapon scoring systems, dynamic pressure sensors, piezoelectric accelerometers, towed targets, reeling machines, and associated telemetry.

POSITION SUMMARY

Perform verification and validation of embedded software for ammunition handling systems, thermal management systems, aeromechanical systems, turbo machinery, and various electronics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Collaborate with team on software and hardware architecture and design
* Perform requirement and design analysis for testability
* Design and develop Software test plans, procedures, and reports
* Design, develop and integrate test and diagnostic software
* Conduct Requirements-based embedded testing
* Conduct hardware-in-the loop (HIL) testing
* Support in-house integration and test including board bring up
* Support product validation, field testing, and deployment as required
* Ensure compliance with standards and regulations

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (BSCS/BSEE) with 3-4 years related experience.
  • Proficient in embedded software testing and hardware in the loop testing.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to understand complex software.
  • Experience with various embedded system architectures, real-time operating systems, and hardware-software interfaces.
  • Experience with development in C/C++ language, LabView, and Test Stand.
  • Experience with peripheral hardware interfaces (UART, USB, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, RS232, RS422, etc.) and protocols such as CAN, TCP/IP, UDP, etc.
  • Hands-On experience with electronics test and measurement equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, digital multi-meter, etc.).
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Competitive Compensation

  • Pay Range: $83250 to $138550 annually
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
