Support Engineers diagnose and resolve escalated technical problems for customers, ensuring exceptional user experience and driving customer satisfaction. Support Engineers significantly contributes to the stability and efficiency of our services by providing advanced troubleshooting for data integrity and code functionality issues, developing and maintaining scripts for automation and data correction, collaborating with the Cloud Management and software development teams, and documenting technical procedures.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
* Research and resolve complex data errors and unexpected results
* Identify and describe root causes of software defects and application performance issues
* Develop scripting processes for automation and data maintenance
* Provides coaching and mentorship to Systems Analysts
* Act as an expert system resource for the SMB and Enterprise Support, Implementation, Professional Services, Migrations, and Sales teams
* Perform code reviews within the application support team as needed

YOU'VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:
* Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
* 1 year experience in back-end technical support of SaaS applications
* Ability to work with and query data across both relational (SQL Server) and distributed NoSQL (e.g., Cosmos DB) systems. Understands tradeoffs between data models, query performance, indexing strategies, and consistency in a distributed cloud environment.
* Ability to systematically diagnose, analyze, and resolve issues related to software, hardware, systems, or applications.

* Ability to effectively manage and nurture client relationships to achieve mutual success.
* Work effectively and harmoniously with others towards a common goal or objective utilizing skills and attitudes necessary to engage, communicate, and cooperate with individuals or groups, fostering an inclusive and productive work environment.
* Ability to define and clarify problems, gather relevant information, and analyze the root causes or underlying factors contributing to the problem ultimately resolving complex or challenging situations or issues.

IT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU:
* Bachelor's degree or certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, and 1 year of relevant experience,
OR
* Bachelors degree with 2 years of relevant experience.

IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT:

Relias values collaboration and wants to ensure that our team members have opportunities to work with their teams regularly for professional development opportunities. Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute). You would be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters approximately 30/40 days/quarter.
