Salary from $25 - 33/hour depending upon experience

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Run daily alert reports to determine systems that are in Communications Failure
  • Troubleshoot, and correct Communications Failure when possible
  • Contact customer directly, if needed
  • Create work order if unable to resolve Communications Failure and send to servicing branch
  • Communicate with the assigned branch coordinator as needed
  • If the system must be upgraded, or equipment needs to be replaced, inform customer of the situation, send a proposal along with a new monitoring agreement to reflect the new equipment and rate (if applicable)
  • Support branches with all monitored equipment tech related questions, concerns and issues.
  • Train and mentor team members on how to understand communication issues on alarm panels
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.
  • Follow Koorsen policies and procedures.
  • Ensure timely and professional communication with coworkers, customers and vendors.
  • Represent Koorsen in a professional manner.

Education and Experience Requirements

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years' experience installing/troubleshooting/repairing security system or fire alarm systems

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

Must possess required knowledge and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed.

  • Excellent communication and telephone skills
  • Ability to quickly connect in-person and in writing, and to actively listen.
  • Technical and/or Mechanical knowledge and abilities
  • Strong proficiency with computers and various software's
  • Ability to coach and mentor resources
  • Ability to foster teamwork and lead with positive influence
  • Valid driver's licenses with acceptable driving record
  • The ability to pass a background check

Office Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with arms.

This form is required by the U.S. Department of Justice and Immigration and Immigration and Naturalization Services and is used to verify your identity and right to work in the United States. 2. Background checks with criminal courts, state and county repositories of criminal records, the Department of Motor Vehicles, are required of all Positions.
