Job Title: Test Professional 4 Location(s): Hoffman Estates, IL Position Overview This is a highly hands-on, onsite role focused on verification and validation (V&V) testing of nuclear medicine imaging systems, specifically SPECT and SPECT/CT. The position involves working in a lab or clinical-like environment and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, software, and product teams. Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual (informal and formal) verification and validation testing of nuclear medicine scanners and applications.
- Provide timely and detailed feedback to development teams based on testing observations.
- Identify, log, track, and validate product defects using standard tools.
- Report on product quality, maturity, and testing progress to test leads.
- Analyze system requirements and technical specifications to ensure adequate functional coverage.
- Support customer complaint investigations and analyze user feedback.
- Maintain and troubleshoot lab prototypes in a clinical-like environment.
- Perform software installation, configuration, and quality control calibration of systems.
- Monitor task progress, manage priorities, and resolve challenges within assigned scope.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including developers, product managers, QA, and support teams.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing activities to support product and software improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related discipline.
- Strong clinical experience in nuclear medicine.
- Hands-on experience performing SPECT and SPECT/CT acquisitions.
- Experience with quality control procedures on nuclear imaging systems.
- Familiarity with handling radioactive materials.
- Strong understanding of nuclear medicine and CT clinical protocols.
