CGL is a provider of justice facility planning, design, and program management and maintenance solutions to justice facilities and other public facilities throughout the U.S. and internationally. CGL Facility Management, LLC provides comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients.

A Brief Overview
CGL Facility Management, LLC provides comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients. The kitchen Equipment technician will be responsible for both preventive and corrective work and minimal utility installations with our client.

What you will do



  • Performs preventive and some corrective maintenance services to existing kitchen equipment corresponding to work orders generated from a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Completes all documentation of work performed in compliance with the CMMS data collection process.
  • Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, engines, pumps, belts, and fans.
  • Performs other maintenance related work, knowledge of HVAC, and/or plumbing strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to quickly become familiar with the design and layout of the facilities; to learn the locations of installed environmental equipment; and understand operating procedures relating to environmental controls.
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and according to the standards of CGL Facility Management, OSHA, and our clients.
  • Inspects completed work for conformance with requirements of local building and safety codes.
  • Escorts subcontractors during completion of their work at the site.
  • Performs other preventive and corrective maintenance tasks as directed by CGL management.
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and according to the standards of CGL Facility Management, OSHA, and our clients.
  • Maintains a clean and safe workplace while and after performing maintenance tasks.
  • Completes all required compliance, safety, and developmental training as assigned.
  • Assists in training other technicians with unlike skillset some basics of the trade and provide mentorship, oversight and direction.
  • Enters work orders into the CMMS system per CGL policy.
  • This position requires driving for the Company using either 1) a Company vehicle, at any frequency from Rarely to Constantly; or, 2) a Personal or Rental vehicle to conduct Company business more than 50% of the time to perform work duties.


Qualifications



  • High School Diploma or GED Required or
  • 4-6 years commercial kitchen equipment experience Preferred
  • Must be able to read blueprints, as-built drawings, and equipment schematics.
  • Must be a team player, have strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to succeed while representing our firm with the best possible service to our clients.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Certifications may be required.
  • Requires a self-motivated, team player who can multitask, and prioritize as well as demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to interact effectively with our clients.
  • Must have experience maintaining dishwasher systems, dish conveyor systems, coolers, freezers, walk-in coolers, ovens, broilers, ice machines, kettles, tilt skillets and refrigerators. Must have the ability to diagnose and trouble shoot issues with each. Needs working knowledge of both gas and electrical appliances.
  • DL NUMBER - Driver's License, Valid and in State Required
  • Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Preferred
